The Dalhousie Graduate History Society, in conjunction with the Dalhousie Association of Graduate Students in English, invites Masters and Doctoral Candidates in all branches of the Humanities and Social Sciences to participate in its upcoming 8th annual graduate student conference. History Across The Disciplines is a conference designed to promote interdisciplinary discussion of the past by engaging graduate students from diverse backgrounds. Submissions are encouraged that employ a range of methodological approaches to discuss any historical period or subject.
Abstracts of 250 words (for 20 minute papers) and brief bios are due by January 27th, 2006. To be considered for the annual John Flint Prize final papers are due by February 20th, 2006. The conference will take place at Dalhousie University, March 10-12, 2006.
