The resource, offered free of charge by the Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore, is a work in progress, with new documentation being added as prepared. Currently over 5000 fully transcribed, edited and analyzed documents are available for the years 1417-1419, 1430-1434. The site, which will soon be expanded with another 5000 documents, includes a prototye for the consultation of images and the virtual restoration of the original manuscript pages.
