The annual conference of the Asian Studies on the Pacific Coast will be held at Washington State University in Pullman, WA June 16-18, 2006. Proposals for panels, individual papers and roundtables are welcome on all topics related to Asia. The committee particularly encourages panels and paper proposals dealing with 1)peace and security in Asia; 2)crossing "borders"--disciplinary, geographical, and temporal; and 3)teacning Asia--pedagogical approaches. Proposals are due March 1, 2006.
