The United States Institute for Peace and the Cornell University’s Latin American Studies Program are pleased to announce the “Peace Initiatives in Colombia Conference.” Presentations by authors of a collection of essays titled Colombia: Building Peace in a Time of War will provide an opportunity for discussion and comparison of different approaches to peace building in Colombia. Individuals interested in questions of human rights, conflict resolution, peace studies, and global affairs are invited to attend the four public presentations listed below.
