Science and Social Justice: An NSF Chautauqua Short Course

This tuition-free NSF Chautauqua Short Course for college teachers of all disciplines will be held on June 15-17 in midtown Manhattan. It will be led by Alan McGown of New School University and will focus on the various ways that science has been used and misused in the course of social justice. Graduate students may also participate in this course. Applications will be available soon at www.chautauqua.pitt.edu but details will be sent now to persons requesting them.
