The North American Conference on British Studies (NACBS) will hold its 2006 Annual Meeting, in conjunction with the Northeast Conference on British Studies (NECBS) in Boston, Massachusetts from Friday, November 17 to Sunday, November 19, 2006.
We solicit proposals for panels on England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and the British Empire broadly defined. Our interests range from the medieval to the modern and we welcome participation by historians, literary critics, economists, sociologists, art historians, and scholars in other allied disciplines.
All proposals MUST be received by the NACBS Program Committee by Friday, January 27, 2006.
