CALL FOR PAPERS
Mount Mary College Symposium 2006

"Educating Global Citizens"
Global citizenship - awareness of the world and cultures around us - is critically important to the future of the world. This symposium will focus on ways women can become global citizens and educate those around them on how to accept this new challenge. We hope to demonstrate how women can become leaders in global citizenship by looking at it from the regional, national and international perspectives. All approaches to defining the work of women in global citizenship are welcome. Possible topics may include, but are not limited to: economics, education, technology, socio-cultural issues, regulatory issues, and history.
All presenters must be registered for the conference. Student presenters are welcome. Potential publication venues are being identified.
