The "under-construction workshop" will draw on case studies and discussions to identify ways in which we can engage with other communities or nations, while minimising detrimental effects.
The program of speakers, performers and exhibitors brings together a diverse range of professionals, students and activists in the built environment including architects, planners, urban designers, environmentalists, trade unionists, international companies, artists, photographers, filmmakers and non-government organisations.
Speakers: RWB Social Planners (Adelaide), OXFAM Community Aid Abroad, Royal Australian Institute of Architects, Engineers without Borders, Architects without Frontiers, Architects for Peace, artists and students from the Victorian College of the Arts and RMIT.
Venue: RMIT Building 50, Orr Street, Carlton , (perpendicular to Victoria St. between Cardigan and Lygon Streets, Melway 43 H6).
