The International Association for the Study of Dreams invites proposals for presentations, lectures, and workshops at its 23rd annual conference at Bridgewater State College in Bridgewater, MA from June 20-24, 2006.
The IASD is an international, multidisciplinary organization whose membership represents about 30 countries and many disciplines including: psychology, psychiatry, social work, education at all levels, religious studies, anthropology, medicine, the expressive and performing arts, literature, philosophy, humanities and business. This year the IASD is making a special effort to attract the participation of scholars in the humanities and social sciences, and welcomes proposals of topics related to dreams and dreaming in: anthropology, area studies, art history, cultural studies, education, film studies, folklore and popular culture, gender studies, history, literature and rhetoric, performance studies, philosophy, religious studies, sociology and other fields.
Proposals are due DECEMBER 31, 2005.
