Lesbian Lives XIII: Historicising the Lesbian
Friday 10 - Sunday 12 February 2006. A 3-Day, International, Interdisciplinary Conference to be held at the Women's Education, Research and Resource Centre (WERRC), University College Dublin, Ireland. Confirmed Speakers include Lillian Faderman, Joan Nestle, Helena Whitbread, Laura Doan, Linda Garber.
Proposals are welcomed on (though are by no means limited to) the following: Lesbian histories, Historiography, Biographies, Historical Literature, Lesbian and Gay Liberation Movements, Oral Histories, Community and Social Activisms, Histories of Sexualities, Queer Readings of History.
Individual Papers, panels and workshops are welcomed. Closing date for abstracts is 18th Nov., 2005.
