'Trouble in 'Paradise': Ecocritical Responses to the Contemporary Caribbean' is a one-day conference taking place at the University of Warwick on November 26, 2005. The conference will examine the Caribbean environment from a wide humanitarian scope, including ecocritical and post-colonial theory, history, development, literature and literary criticism. Speakers include David Dabydeen, Greg Garrard, David Howard, Graham Huggan, Michael Mitchell, Polly Pattullo, James Procter and Clem Seecharan.
