CALL FOR PAPERS
The 2006 Midwest Graduate Music Consortium will be held at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, on 24 and 25 February 2006 with Kay Kaufman Shelemay as keynote speaker. Abstracts written by undergraduate and graduate students pertaining to music analysis, cognition, theory, pedagogy, performance, composition, education, ethnomusicology, musicology, and all other music-related subjects are welcomed. Selected presentations will be limited to twenty-minute talks that will be followed by ten additional minutes of questions and comments.

Abstracts should not exceed 500 words and must be received by 4 November 2005. Each applicant must submit their abstract in an attachment that does not contain their name or affiliation. The email accompanying this abstract should include the applicant's name, affiliation, email address,
