The European History Section of the Southern Historical Association invites proposals for individual papers and complete panels for presentation at its annual meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana, November 17-20, 2006. (Yes, New Orleans!!!)

Papers on any aspect of European history are welcome, and presenters may include graduate students as well as faculty members. Panels should consist of two or three papers, a commentator, and a chair. It is not recommended that a panel consist exclusively of graduate students.

Proposals may be submitted online at jgrill@history.msstate.edu. Proposals submitted by mail, including a one-page description of each paper and a short c.v. of each panelist, should be addressed to:
