The University of Missouri-Kansas City Law School is partnering with the National Archives and Records Administration-Central Plains Region to present a conference focusing on the significance of archival records for empirical, legal and historical research, and for curriculum design. Keynote speaker Theodore Eisenberg will be joined by NARA archivists and other scholars to address this issue.
The conference is scheduled for October 7 and 8, 2005. It will be held at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Law School, and will include a tour of the archives of NARA's Central Plains Region, located in Kansas City. Attendees will also have the opportunity to work with selected NARA records and to strategize how such records might be incorporated into the curriculum of undergraduate and graduate students.
