Proposed Confederacy panel for Southern Historical Assocation

I am looking for 2-3 participants to join me in proposing a panel for the Southern Historical Assocation next year in New Orleans (location subject to change, I imagine). My paper will be on Spain and the Confederacy, but I would be happy to consider any papers on Confederate diplomacy, Confederate political leaders, the Confederate navy, King Cotton, Confederate commerce, or any other related (or even vaguely related) subject for a panel.

If interested, please send me an email with your idea. I would also be interested in hearing from anyone interested in being a moderator or providing the comment.

The deadline for the SHA is September 15, which is why my deadline is so quick.
