The Second Annual Graduate Seminar on China, organized by the Universities Service Centre for China Studies (USC), Chinese University of Hong Kong, is now accepting applications from students interested in participating. The seminar will take place in Hong Kong, from January 5 to 9, 2006. Ph.D candidates who are conducting social science research on post-1949 China are qualified to participate. A limited amount of funding is available in each subject area. The deadline for the financial subsidy application is September 1, 2005; the deadline for attendance applications is October 31.
