Manuscript deadline is 18 months from contract signing. The volume will begin with a lengthy historical introduction. It will provide a brief timeline of major events in that period and then a narrative with topical chapters will round out the coverage. Topical chapters will trace developments over time by country/region as needed. Major topic areas will vary but will be along the lines of Family Life, Marriage and Childbearing, Religion, Public Life, Lives of Ordinary Women, Women and the Economy, Political Status, Legal Status, and Women in Literature (or other venues). Chronology. Bibliography. Glossary if appropriate. Index.
Authors must have Ph.D. and/or be independent scholars/subject specialists and be proven producers of pertinent publications. Replies only to qualified candidates.
