The Popular Culture/American Culture Association radio group invites scholars to submit panels or individual papers for the 2006 conference seheduled for April 12-15, 2006 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis hotel. Presentations may be historical or contemporary.
The highly interdisciplinary radio area reflects a broad range of topics. Past presentations have focused on programming, drama, personality studies, talk radio, rhetorical studies, propaganda, internet radio, the future of radio, alternative radio, radio news, policy issues, minority programs, radio as literature, & international radio, just to mention a few.
