Dr. Daniel is an Assistant Professor of History at Wright State University—Lake Campus. He is currently working on a transcription and translation of the first edition of Paracelsus’ Liber de Imaginibus, which is housed in the Neville Collection at the Chemical Heritage Foundation. For the past two years, Dr. Daniel has been a postdoctoral fellow at the Dibner Institute for the History of Science and Technology at MIT. He was also recently awarded the 2005 Partington Prize from the Society for the History of Alchemy and Chemistry for his paper “Rethinking Paracelsus’ Concept of Body and Matter”. Dr. Daniel earned his Ph.D. in the History and Philosophy of Science from Indiana University in 2003.
