The Portuguese Studies Review is launching a complementary call for papers to gather additional contributors for this thematic issue, to be published in 2006 as Vol. 14, No. 1 of the Portuguese Studies Review, under the guest editorship of Prof. Dr. Carla Mary S. Oliveira, of the Departamento de História, Universidade Federal da Paraíba. The present call complements the one made through the ANPUH newsletter. Seven research articles forming the issue's core have already been committed to. The PSR cordially invites all other participants wishing to contribute to the issue.
