CALL FOR PAPERS:
Popular Culture Association
2006 Convention, April 12-16,2006
I invite you to submit papers on any aspect of
collecting or collectibles for the 2006 Popular Culture
Association conference to be held April 12-16, 2006 at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, Georgia.
Topics include (but are certainly not limited to): why we collect, the psychology of collecting, the popularity of collecting, collecting and the media, or a particular collectible, collector, or collection. Recent PCA panels have truly expanded the exploration of collecting. I look forward to more thought-provoking ideas next year.
Please send a 150-word abstract (including title and contact information) to me either via email or regular mail at the addresses listed below. You can send the abstract as either a Word attachment or in the body of an email. Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified by January 1, 2006.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: November 1, 2005
Please contact me, either by email at email@example.com or by phone at 302-239-6367 if you have any questions. For those who wish to mail their abstracts, my home address is: Ron Bishop, 569 Hemingway Drive, Hockessin, DE 19707
