The Third International Women in French Conference

Call for papers
The Third International WIF Conference will be held at the University of New Hampshire, located in Durham, NH.
The Program Committee invites you to send your proposals (maximum 200 words, plus a brief bibliography) by September 1, 2005. Please include with your proposal full details on your whereabouts between September 2005 and April 2006: e-mail, postal address, telephone, fax. Papers may be given in either English or French. WORD attachments are preferred but postal submissions will also be accepted. Please send a copy of your proposal to each of the members of the Program Committee:

Please note that members may submit only one paper proposal for the conference. You may, however, propose a paper as well as a session, which you would organize.
You may submit proposals on any relevant topic (e.g. specific women writers from across the French-speaking world, French or francophone women’s themes throughout the ages, literary and/or cinematographic techniques, feminist theoretical or cultural issues).
The organizers have also chosen two topics of focus for this WIF conference:
1) Women & Work
2) Franco-American Women of New England and Eastern Canada
