The BTU Cottbus has places available in its unique Master Programme in World Heritage Studies.
The degree combines scientific, technical, socio-economic, cultural, ecological and political aspects with the aim to help protect and conserve the heritage of mankind according to the UNESCO's World Heritage Convention.
The approach is interdisciplinary and international and includes courses from such diverse areas as construction engineering, construction techniques, preservation of monuments and landscapes, management and cultural studies and is open to students with a first degree in a respective area.
The accredited two-year programme is held in English and is supported by the UNESCO and a partnership with universities worldwide and offers a wide variety of exchange programmes. No tuition fees will be charged. The programme has been accredited and is coordinated by the UNESCO Chair for Heritage Studies.
