I am pleased to announce that M.E. Sharpe will publish The New Encyclopedia of American Journalism (working title). This two-volume reference work is intended to fill a significant gap in the reference field. I have been joined by a world class editorial board to put together the definitive reference book with approximately 400 entries in a wide range of categories including biographies of journalists, histories of publications and broadcasts, histories of media companies, trends and issues. Entries will range in length from 500 to 2500 words. Many topics are still available.
