CALL FOR PAPERS
Persons are invited to submit abstracts and papers for the 7th Social History Project symposium hosted by the Social History Project, Department of History and Archaeology, to be held in March 2006 in Jamaica.
The theme of the symposium is SOCIETY, CULTURE AND POLITICS and is intended to include a wide area of study and scholarship in history. The Social History Project invites presentations which are scholarly in nature and will contribute to the on-going debates in social history. The themes proposed for presentation and discussion include:
Oral History
Sports and Leisure
Women and Gender
Folklore and Culture
Landscape and the Environment
Food as Heritage
Labour History
Politics and Society
