On February 27th and 28th, 2006, the Dept. of Languages and Cultures of the Near East, the Dept. of Archaeology and the Dept. of Geography at the Ghent University are organising an international symposium for doctoral and post-doctoral reseachers concerning the interdisciplinary aspects of landscape study.
Focuss will lie mainly on research stemming from cooperations between archaeology, historical geography, physical geography, geomorphology and/or remote sensing. Papers on the methodological issues connected with such cooperation may also be sent in. Abstracts for papers and posters may only be sent in via the forms on the conference website (see below for address).
