ORAL HISTORY IN CANADA
Oral history, including the collecting of oral tradition, has become a major research method of historians and other scholars as well as community activists and local historians in Canada and worldwide. This conference seeks to bring these practitioners from various fields together to assess the state of oral history in Canada and the directions it may take in the future. Students, independent researchers and professional academics present their research in three days of panels and practical workshops.

Before 1 July 2005: Regular: $20; Student: $10
After 1 July 2005: Regular: $50; Student: $30

Accommodations:
Participants are responsible for their own accommodations. We have blocked off rooms in a hotel and student housing that are in easy walking-distance to the university.

To receive the conference rate of $79.00 Cdn. per night, you must book before 1 August 2005.

Please not that bedding and cooking utensils are not provided.
