International Summer School in Central Asia

The Kyrgyz-Turkish MANAS University www.manas.kg cordially invites interested participants to take part in an unforgettable Central Asian cultural and educational experience during the summer of 2005.
The purpose of bringing people together for the 19 day event from different parts of the world is to offer participants an insightful and educational perspective of Kyrgyzstanís people, culture, tradition, history, art, literature, geography, and political and economic institutions. Besides, its primary role is to promote the exchange of information and to communicate the knowledge and experiences of the Kyrgyz nation in various fields through seminars, conferences, and workshops during the whole period of the program.
Eligibility: senior students, scholars, academics, professionals, and pensioners from 20 years to 75 years of their age from all parts of the world.
Estimated program cost: between $1,100 to $1,400 per participant according to the preference of the accommodation. The fee will cover all costs of tuition and materials, accommodation for full period of the program (19 nights), all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), excursions, and transportation inside Kyrgyzstan. Participants are encouraged to transfer the advance payment of 10% of the total fee upon the confirmation of their participation to the university bank account. The full payment has to reach the respective destination till June 30, 2005 or after the arrival time to Kyrgyzstan.
