Laquian, Professor Emeritus of the University of British Columbia, and Mats Andersson, Senior Urban Management Specialist at the World Bank, will discuss Professor Laquian's new book, "Beyond Metropolis: The Planning and Governance of Asia’s Mega-Urban Regions." The book studies planning and governance in the regions surrounding the twelve cities in Asia with populations over ten million: Tokyo, Mumbai, Beijing, Karachi, Metro Manila, and Seoul.
