Contributors continue to be needed for a comprehensive encyclopedic military history reference work called The United States at War: Understanding Conflict and Society.
The work is being assembled by ABC-CLIO, an award-winning academic reference publisher, under the general editorship of Dr. Spencer C. Tucker, former John Briggs Chair of Military History at the Virginia Military Institute.
Hundreds of entries on topics from all facets of military, social, and political history remain unassigned across the topic areas related to the following conflicts or wars:
