The Descendants of Mexican War Veterans, publishers of the "Mexican War Journal" invite the submission of articles and book reviews related directly or indirectly to the Mexican War (1846-1848). Students (high school and college), non-academic personnel, independent and government scholars, and academic faculty are encouraged to submit.
Examples of acceptable material include: original essays on an aspect of the Mexican War; biographical studies of personnel involved in the Mexican War (U.S., Mexico, Great Britain, etc.); transcriptions and/or translations of correspondence, journals, diaries, ships logs, or the like from the war period; and book reviews of books abotu the Mexican War or its participants. The "Mexican War Journal" is an English language journal.
We are now accepting submissions for the Summer 2005 and Winter 2006 issues. Authors receive a complementary issue for their efforts.
