This study day incorporates five papers from a wide chronological time period. Looking at a variety of subject areas from the social relations and networks of women living in York’s immediate hinterland during the late fourteenth and fifteenth centuries to women’s shopping in Liverpool and Manchester, 1918 – 1939. This is an ideal forum through which to meet and listen to researchers who are interested in women’s history. It is also free to attend.
