Call for Papers: e-maj issue 1 2005
e-maj is a new online journal affiliated with the Melbourne Art Journal and is published by the Fine Arts Network (FAN). It is dedicated to publishing student research in art history and museology, as well as reviews of recent art exhibitions. For the inaugural edition the editors are seeking papers pertaining to any period, area or theme of art history or museology, as well as reviews of exhibitions held within the past six months. Undergraduate and postgraduate students of Australian and International Universities are encouraged to submit.
Papers should be 2500-4000 words in length and reviews 500-1000. All submissions must be made by email in rtf (Rich Text Format) and be accompanied by a 100 word abstract and brief biographical statement.
Contributions are invited on, but need not be limited to, the followings areas of research:
- Classical to Medieval art
- Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo
- Nineteenth Century and Modernism
- Contemporary Australian and International
- Asian art
- Museology
