The new web-site of the Oral History Center at the European University at St. Petersburg (Russia) has been recently opened.
Oral History Center was founded in 2001 under support of the Open Society Institute (Soros Foundation) in close cooperation with the Center for Oral History (History and Memory Center) at the Indiana University, USA.
The Center is an interdisciplinary initiative that aims at developing of research and education in the sphere of oral data analysis. The main goal of the Center is to provide and support the academic resources for use of oral evidences.
Activity:
Research project “The Blockade in Life and Memory of Leningrad people”
Seminar “Oral History in Contemporary Social Research”
The course “Oral History: Theory and Practice”
Recent news: the book “Border and the people: The Recollections of the Migrants of Ladoga Karelia and Karelian Isthmus” was published.
