The Mass Communication Division of the Southern States Communication Association invites submissions for the April 5-9, 2006 Convention in Dallas. The division particularly welcomes diversity in scholarly panel proposals and research projects that include such topics as emerging technologies, the internet, on-line journalism, television, radio, international broadcasting, advertising, political communication within the media, and more. In addition to the traditional research paper submissions and panel proposals, the Mass Communication Division is soliciting proposals for production showcases, presentations, round tables, and other innovative discussion formats about issues that are focal to the discipline.
