The Middle Tennessee State University Holocaust Studies Committee solicits papers and panels by faculty members, researchers and advanced graduate students on all aspects of Holocaust studies for its 7th bi-annual Holocaust Studies conference to be held October 27-29, 2005 at Murfreesboro, TN. Professor Gerhard L. Weinberg will deliver the Keynote Address, "Two Separate Subjects? Thinking about World War II and the Holocaust." We welcome papers on all Holocaust topics, but those connected to this year's conference theme, the liberation of the camps and the camps as memorial sites are especially solicited. Individual paper abstracts should be one page long and accompanied by a vita of no more than 200 words. Panels should consist of 2-3 presenters and a moderator. Please send a one page paper abstract and a vita of no more than 200 words for each presenter and a similar vita for the panel moderator. Also include a one page panel proposal. The deadline for all paper and panel proposals is June 15, 2005. Middle Tennessee State University is located in Murfreesboro, TN, ca 30 miles south east of Nashville.
