The Southwest Council of Latin American Studies (SCOLAS) will hold its 39th annual meeting on March 1-4, 2006, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The conference theme for this year is "Faces and Faces: Searching for the True Image of Latin America."
To submit a paper, send a paper title and abstract (maximum 250 words) to Dr. Terry Rugeley, University of Oklahoma, at the e-mail address provided below. Please include professional title and institutional affiliation.
SCOLAS is an interdisciplinary organization which accepts papers in both Spanish and English.
Panels and individual papers are both welcome.
SCOLAS will only accept electronic submissions.
Deadline for submission: October 31, 2005.
