This summer institute, July 18 - 22, 2005 at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale FL, will be co-taught by the TRT - To Reflect and Trust - an international dialog group comprised of descendants of Holocaust survivors and perpetrators, Blacks and Whites from S. Africa, Catholics and Protestants from N. Ireland and Palestinians and Israelis

Elements of the Course:
Fundamentals of storytelling for individuals and groups
Recounting of personal experiences
Recognizing of the other in oneself
Dialoging with “the enemy”
Re-entry into one’s community after dialog with the “enemy”
Issues of individual, group and social traumas
Facilitation of models of working with groups
Psychodrama
Art-based techniques
Participants will have the opportunity to observe, interact and interview members of the TRT.
