The Latin American Review of Books (www.latamrob.com) is a new resource dedicated to providing accessible reviews of books about the region. Its mission is to increase interest in and knowledge of Latin American politics and culture beyond specialist academic circles, and at the moment it targets a UK and European audience. It is partnered with the African Review of Books (www.africanreviewofbooks.com). It is run on a shoestring and has to sell books to cover the cost of running the site, but is not intended to be commercial.
