In response, China has requested a bilateral agreement with the US to restrict the importation of Chinese antiquities.

We focus on the destruction of archaeological sites, historical sites and the channeling of cultural artifacts through the illicit antiquities trade. Founded in response to the ransacking of the National Museum of Iraq in Baghdad, our effort is now global. SAFE has no political affiliations.
