The theme for the 58th Annual Pacific Northwest History Conference is "Explorations: Traveling the Full Range of Pacific Northwest History." The conference is being held on April 28-30, 2005, in Boise in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Northwest Oral History Association. Sponsors include the state historical societies of Idaho, Oregon, and Washington as well as the Center for Columbia River History. Historians, other scholars, teachers, students, enthusiasts, and the general public are, as always, welcome.
