The Saskatchewan Institute of Public Policy invites the submission of proposed or completed papers for consideration in SIPP’s Public Policy Paper Series publication.
The Institute has a mandate to inform the debate on public-policy issues through the distribution of timely research results. In addition to publishing papers from SIPP staff and associates, the Institute makes its distribution channels available to others who are interested in contributing to the improvement of public policy.
SIPP publishes papers in a wide array of policy areas of relevance to Saskatchewan residents and to Canadians generally. Subject areas include, but are not limited to, SIPP’s ongoing research priorities of social and economic public policy; rural research; health studies; public ownership; and governance.
Paper proposals outlining the author’s intended research should be approximately 450 words (1 ˝ pages, 1 ˝ lines spaced). Completed policy papers of 4,500 to 9,000 words (15 - 30 pages, 1 ˝ lines spaced) must meet the standards of university level scholarship and include proper documentation. All papers will be subject to a double-blind peer review process prior to publication.
Policy papers are distributed throughout the policy community to practitioners, academics, and SIPP membership, and are available on SIPP’s website.
Please direct paper proposals, draft papers, or questions regarding public policy papers to SIPP at firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information on SIPP, please see the web address provided below.
