Irish Studies: a Summer School in Dublin, June 29th – July 15th 2005
University College Dublin’s annual International Summer School explores the history, culture and politics of Ireland from ancient times to the present. Now in its 57th year, it caters for all those with an interest in Irish Studies, whether beginners or professional scholars. Distinguished scholars from the university’s academic community (archaeologists, folklorists, modern historians, Anglo-Irish literature specialists, Celticists, and so on) present formal lectures, direct informal workshops, and lead field-trips. Introductory Irish language classes are also included in the programme.
