Announcing the Sixth Annual Western Front Association - Phi Alpha Theta Undergraduate Essay Prize competition.
The award is open to undergraduates at American colleges and universities. It consists of a check for $700 and a certificate. Runners-up certificates may also be awarded.
The essay of from 12 to 15 pages typed double spaced in 12-point font must contribute to a better understanding of the impact of World War One on the United States and its people. Essays may cover virtually any aspect of the world conflict of 1914-1918 over the period from 1912 (the Second Moroccan Crisis) to 1924 (The Dawes Plan). There must be evidence of the use of primary sources.
