The James A. Barnes Club, Temple University’s Department of History graduate student association, is pleased to announce the Tenth Annual James A. Barnes Graduate Student Conference.
The Barnes Club Conference will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Temple University’s Center City campus in downtown Philadelphia.
Registration and a continental breakfast will begin at 9:00 a.m., and the first panels will begin at 9:40 a.m. Lunch will be provided, and a post-conference reception will immediately follow conclusion of the conference, 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Prizes for best papers in United States, European, world, and military history will be presented at the reception. Registration is $10.00 for attendees.
Approximately 50 graduate students from across the United States, Great Britain, and Canada will present papers. Noted scholars from across the United States will chair panels and lead discussion groups, workshops, and roundtables.
