The Medieval Household, a conference at the Pennsylvania State University, will be held on March 18-19, 2005. Come hear the real dish about life inside the medieval home! A host of internationally famous speakers will offer insights on domesticity in the Middle Ages, as they discuss the households of kings and monks, in cities and country villages. Our experts will explore families of every type: Viking raiders, Irish royalty, and French literary characters. There will also be a medieval banquet and a dramatic performance. We plan to offer Act 48 credit for Pennsylvania teachers. The conference is being jointly sponsored by Penn State and the Worldwide Universities Network, a group of international universities, of which Penn State is a member.
