The National Association of African American Honors Programs (NAAAHP)invites proposals for papers, panels, workshops, roundtables, and poster displays for the 2005 Annual Conference to be held in Jackson, Mississippi, November 2-5, 2005. This year's special feature is a focus on "best practices" in teaching in honors programs, and faculty are encouraged to make proposals addressing honors pedagogy. Both faculty and students in honors programs are especially encouraged to submit proposals that explore and report on the history of African Americans, with emphasis on segregation, desegregation, and/or re-segregation.
