The Indigenous Knowledges conference: Reconciling Academic Priorities with Indigenous Realities will be held in Wellington, New Zealand, June 22-25 2005.
The conference will provide a forum for both established and emerging Maori and indigenous academics to map disciplinary and intellectual discourses from an indigenous perspective.
We are particularly interested in research that is generated and driven by First nations/indigenous communities and the tensions and solutions that emerge.
The conference is interdisciplinary and will be of interest to academic researchers working alongside and within First Nations/indigenous communities.
