The Native Studies Department of the University of Lethbridge, CURA, Wordcraft Circle of Native Writers and Storytellers, and Blood Rez Productions invite paper and panel proposals on all aspects of First Nations and American Indian writing, storytelling, and literature for Returning the Gift XIII—Celebrating Our Words, May 11-14, 2005, at the University of Lethbridge in Lethbridge, Alberta.
In commemoration of the signing of the Lame Bull Treaty 150 years ago, papers/panels on Blackfoot(feet) studies are of special interest as are papers/panels on First Nations/American Indian literature and creative and academic writing. Paper and panel proposals of 150-200 words should be e-mailed to Dr. Kimberly Roppolo at kimberly.roppolo@uleth.ca by March 11, 2005.
