The History Graduate Student Association of Loyola University Chicago invites colleagues in history to submit proposals for individual papers to present at the First Annual Loyola University Chicago History Graduate Student Conference on May 14th at the LUC Lakeshore campus. We are seeking proposals from masters/doctoral graduate students in any field, time period, or approach in history. Sample sessions include cultural history, social history, history of race, gender, and ethnicity, and public history. Chairs and discussants will be selected from among the faculty at Loyola University Chicago and other regional universities. The deadline for submissions is March 15, 2005. Proposals should include abstract(s) and a one page vitae and should be emailed as an attachment to History Graduate Student Association coordinator, Dejan Kralj at the following e-mail address.
